Permanent Part-Time (16 hours per week)

Band 3 - $31 - $33 per hour plus industry allowance

Council is seeking an Aerodrome Reporting Officer to join the Sustainable Community Lead team; the successful applicant will be responsible for the safe operation of the Hamilton Aerodrome in accordance with regulatory requirements which include Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) compliance and aerodrome site maintenance.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Undertaking required duties as stipulated within the CASA regulations
  • Identify hazards and issuing Notices to Airmen (NOTAM's) in accordance with airport regulations
  • Monitor and undertake serviceability requirements, routine grounds and infrastructure maintenance of airport infrastructure
